New Women of Africa (Abuse and Use is the name of the Game)
Sugar daddies are a norm. Having a husband in addition to a boy friend to some women is practical. It has become a method of survival. Do what you can to move ahead at the work place, smooch your boss at the work place (no smooch no work). Young women are doing this unabashed. After all what do they care about? It gets them where they want to go, what they need to have and career advancements. Now with sex becoming a bargaining chip at the work place, who profits? Young women sell their souls and bodies to these devils of men, after the deed is done; benefits the women discover are temporary. The disconcertion pain and abuse are rather permanent. A lot is given for a little. However who can fault them when work is hard is to come by and competition is tough and there are so many enticing attributes to just a little sacrifice such as giving up a little of your self?
Another thought is that men in position are now taking advantage of women in disadvantaged positions. Sometimes, the men feel that it is their right to have the women before they are given the job. Meanwhile, this is not part of the job description: sleeping with the boss. Society needs to take such matters seriously, for we have made it a norm, that sometimes when women complain about it other women throw it back at them that so what will happen if you give him “some” . The belief is, it those not take anything away. They looking at the physical not the emotional, hence many women having emotional issues they don’t know how to deal with.
