This is Africa (TIA)

It was sad, hardly difficult to understand the term this is Africa. The notion this is Africa was taken form the movie blood diamond. It is in Africa that HIV/AIDS, civil war, greed, child soldiers, abuse, misuse of government property, corruption all reside. Africa’s problems are overwhelming often not knowing when how to tackle them. Some countries have tackled their own problems finding unique African solutions whilst civil war plagues others into total obscurity. This is Africa, where children fend for themselves and their families and have no voice. Where women are considered second class citizens but it is the same continent that is proud to elect a female president. It is the same continent that has so many natural resources which are more of a curse than a blessing. Well this is my Africa, a land of many countries and great potential. This is Africa, the land of the good, the bad and the ugly. This is Africa
